I'm back after two intense weeks of crunching, working 14-15 hours a day, go to bed around 5 in the morning and up agin at noon. I've had good company with another workaholic in the house, so it's been quite fun!
We've been working on the 2nd edition of The Dessert Revolution ebook, improving the recipes and text, some of the graphics, added how-to images, sharper photos and made a higher quality PDF file. ...And. The price is lowered! It's yours for only $23, €17, 150 SEK!
I've also re-designed the launching site of the ebook. You will be my Doll forever if you help me and click the 'Like' button there ♥

During the crunching I made sure to "Super Size" my days by making smoothies with the right kind of super foods... Chia, Suma, Camu camu, Mesquite, Hemp and Coconut oil ..And when my skin started to freak out on me (after the wierd sleeping pattern) I added purple corn to the smoothies.
Chia: This is the seed for endurance. Used by the ancient people of the Andeans before battles and long walks. It also hydrates your body, is full of omega fatty acids (great for your brain) and antioxidants. And a wonderful thing with chia, is that it makes any smoothie satisfying.
Suma: Great when you need something little extra. A boost of nutrition and power. Be careful though, it will make you go into heat, and maybe that's not what you have time for during a crunch? ..Or is just what you need to relax and have a fresh start to tackle your work. It does amazing things with your body, working very intelligent like a "nutrition missile" and it absorbs stress from your body. I can't be without it when I have to push my limits.
Camu camu: WOW! This berry powder is full packed with vitamin C... More than any food on the planet. And you know what? Vitamin C is what you need to stay perky and focussed, same as with the Suma, I will not do without my camu at any situation that is demanding. Stay crisp sharp!
Mesquite: Don't let a low blood sugar ruin your workday. I use mesquite to balance my blood sugar, for the great mineral content and to prolong my feeling of fullness after breakfast. Also it tastes delicious.
Coconut oil: A nutritional powerhouse I can't even begin to explain... I can say that scientists in the Philipines are working to find a proof that virgin coconut oil kills HIV-virus.. That might give you an idea of how powerful this gift from mother nature is. Coconut oil is also a great energy booster and gives taste and texture to any of your concuctions.
Hemp seeds: Another favorite of mine. You can feel how your body is thanking you when you eat hemp. I find it so nurturing and grounding and it makes your smoothie more filling, satisfying, creamy and nutritious (omega fats again).
Purple corn: Gives you antioxidants, is grounding, has a mild sweetener, brain food.. Purple corn is great when you feel that you have pushed yourself a little too far and need to rebuild with nutrition.
Karolina's Super Smoothie for Crunching
Here's an example of how my smoothies been looking like, and tasting like for the past two weeks.
This is a nutritional smoothie that taste of nutrition (not like a filling for a cheesecake). Though, if you popped in some fresh raspberries into this, it would be like the duckling turning into a swan.
• 1/4 c Pumpkin seeds (if you soak them during the night, or a couple of hours before, the nutrition will be activated).
• 1.5 cups Water
• 2 big Bananas (or four small)
• 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
• 3 tablespoons Mesquite flour
• 1 teaspoon Camu camu
• 0.5 teaspon Suma
• 1 tablespoon virgin Coconut oil
• a squeeze of Lime
First grind the Pumkin seeds into a flour if they are dry. Then add the water and bananas and blend well. (If you choose to use soaked pumpkin seeds, just blend the three ingredients together until smooth). Now add the rest of the ingredients into your blender and blend until completely creamy and smooth.
Karolina's Crunch Super Smoothie (swedish)
• 0.5 dl Pumpafrön (kan blötläggas några timmar el. över natten för att aktivera näringen)
• 3 dl Vatten
• 2 stora Vananer, eller 4 små
• 1 msk Chiafrön
• 3 msk Mesquite
• 1 tsk Camu camu
• 0.5 tsk Suma
• 1 msk virgin Cocosolja
• kläm i lite Lime

The secret is to only do crunches during fullmoon. This is something that the secret society's always known, and practiced, how to work with the phases of the moon. So.. as the fullmoon is changing into a new phase, it is time for a wrap up of things, change the pace.
See you soon again,
/Karolina
Oh, and here's the shoes I was talking about :)

camu camu and suma root are not easily found in the US. do you have any recommended places to find them? or a suggested substitution? thanks!
If you're willing to pay the shipping, I sell them in my webshop. 100 gram each. The Camu costs $27 and the Suma costs $19. The shipping would be something like $13. So a total of $59.
It's in swedish so far, but here's the webshop;
